[Women's Track & Field] Heath's Carmichael headed to Rio

    HEATH, Ohio - University of Rio Grande cross country/track & field head coach Bob Willey has announced the signing of Heath High School's Kayla Carmichael for the 2015-16 school year.
    Carmichael, a 5-foot-3 sprinter, set a personal-best time of 12.74 in the 100-meter dash as a senior. As a junior, she anchored Heath's 400 and 800 relay squads to school-record times and fifth-place finishes at the Division II regional meet, while also helping the Bulldogs win the Division II district title and placing in two individual events and two relays.
