[Women's Indoor Track & Field] Rio's Petty sets three school records

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio - Tyanna Petty set a trio of school records to fuel the efforts of the University of Rio Grande women's track and field team at a pair of meets last weekend.
    Petty, a freshman from Somerset, Ohio, compiled a personal-best and school record 3,114 points in the Pentathlon for an overall finish of fourth place at the Fred Wilt Invitational hosted by Purdue University, last Friday, in West Lafayette, Ind.
    Over the course of the five events which go toward determining an overall winner, Petty also set new personal records in the 60-meter hurdles and high jump. She had the third-best finish in the high jump with an effort of 1.64m and was fourth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.90.
