    VANCOUVER, Wash. - The final race of the fall for two University of Rio Grande cross country standouts ended in about as positive of a fashion as anyone could've hoped.
    Senior Cody Booth (New Philadelphia, OH) and sophomore Mackenzie McCarthy (New Franklin, OH) both earned All-American honors after their respective outings in Friday's NAIA Cross Country Championships at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Championship Course.
    Booth finished 36th out of 333 runners in the men's division after completing the 8k course in a time of 25:50, while McCarthy placed 39th among 340 competitors in the women's 5k race after crossing in 19:00.
    The top 40 finishers in each race were named All-Americans.
