    MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - The University of Rio Grande garnered a fourth place finish in the 2022 River States Conference Men's Cross Country Coaches' Preseason Poll released by league officials.
    The RedStorm picked up one first one first place vote and 68 points in the voting by the league's 11 head coaches, finishing one point behind Point Park (Pa.) University for third place. The Pioneers also had one first place nod and 69 points.
